Banda Bassotti

Banda Bassotti is a project born in late 2025 under the roof of the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen. It comes from an urge to communicate: to speak, to listen, and to be heard; from the need to reach out and connect. It is about people, it is about fellowship: music itself is nothing more than a canvas.

The name is a playful reference to the gang of criminals in the Donald Duck universe who endlessly scheme, always trying, and never quite managing to outsmart Scrooge McDuck. In the same spirit, the project is not concerned with outcomes, but with the process: enjoying the ride and discovering what is yet unknown.
